So often, I read of people who want to be successful, who don’t quite seem to be getting there.

Of course, this applies to those trying to start or run an online business, but I guess that there are times in everyone’s life when this would apply, business or not.

In most cases, and at the risk of over simplifying things, it seems to me that what is most needed is change.

But, change is not always easy to induce, to make happen. It’s just easier to carry on as before.

That, however, can never be the solution.

Here’s an idea that you can try, to make change happen, to visualize why change MUST happen!

Close the door, get comfortable in your favorite chair, close your eyes and relax.

Now, imagine a beam of the brightest light imaginable, shooting out from your chest and stretching up towards the sky. Immerse yourself totally in that beam of light, indeed, become that beam of light.

Ride it, flow with it right on up to the darkest heavens, out beyond the confines of the earth and your daily life. Go as far out and as deep into space as you want to, travel until you are totally relaxed.

Now, look back down at the earth thousands, perhaps millions of miles below you, slowly spinning, a beautiful blue and white orb, teeming with infinite possibilities and opportunities.

And notice another beam of light, as bright as yours but differently colored, slowly rising from the earth towards you, until it eventually intersects with ‘your’ light beam, and swirls around you.

Get on the ‘new’ lightbeam and ride it, as quickly or as slowly as you like, back down towards the earth, until you land back on terra firma.

Now, visualize, feel, reach out to touch and experienece the place and time in which you have just ‘landed’

Where are you? A city or a village? What country is it? How do the people look? What language do they speak?

Say hello to the person in front of you.

This is your future self, in the place that you want to be.

How did you get from the ‘now’ to the ‘then’?

Ask your future self the question!

How did you get to be so successful?

What did you do to achieve the changes that you made to get from the first light beam to the second?

Ask!

Then, act on what you are told.

Make the changes that will take you from the ‘now’ you, to the super-successful you of the future.

Know that the two light beams will always be connected and that any time you need to, you can move from the ‘now’ to the ‘then’ to rediscover the secrets of the more successful future you.
